VirtualRPC
Charles Hope and friends
Monday 20th October 2008, 7:45pm

This will be a general discussion on the use of the commercial RiscPC emulation software VirtualRPC, which is available for Windows and MacOSX. Discussion will include hints and tips on how to make best use of it and avoid problems caused by the mixing of the two OS's.

Charles Hope will get things started by talking about his experiences with the original emulated RISC OS system, the MicroDigital Alpha laptop, and the problems he encountered with it. He will then briefly demonstrate his current VRPC-SA system.

We will have one problematic VirtualRPC system in need of fixing during the evening, and also a few words from another VRPC owner.

However, most of the ROUGOL committee do not use VRPC, so if you do use it - even if you're not an expert! - then we'd greatly appreciate your input, either what you like, what problems you've had and any tips, and if appropriate perhaps even a brief demonstration of your system running.

VirtualRPC is available from here.
