RISC OS Open Everywhere
Ben Avison, RISC OS Open Ltd
Monday 19th July 2010, 7:45pm

Recent developments on RISC OS 5 mean that in addition to running on the Iyonix and BeagleBoard, it can now be softloaded on a RiscPC and used with the free RPCemu emulator on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. This opens up the possibility of a completely free RISC OS emulator.

Ben Avison from RISC OS Open Ltd will be bringing along a BeagleBoard or two to demonstrate and answer questions about the latest developments.

We also hope to try loading RISC OS 5 on the club's RiscPC (we did, and it worked after removing the incompatible IDE and USB podules :-)
