RiscDJ Music Library Player
Michael Emerton
Monday 17th May 2010, 7:45pm

Michael has been developing his RiscDJ music library player for the last few years on and off. It started out primarily for personal use, having got fed up with using DBPowerAMP on Windows as there were certain features which were missing.

RiscDJ has the ability to hold a 100000 track library, and search for specific tracks, artists, albums, then do another search based on the previous results. It can also filter (on the beginning letter) on tracks, artists, and albums, and allows tracks to be enqueued into a list, which allows you to re-arrange the playing order.

The player can play MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files, courtesy of Andre Timmermans' superb DiskSample modules (and thus potentially anything it can support).

The software is freeware and this will be the first time the software has been distributed, so come along and be the envy of your friends by being among the first to get hold of a copy!

RiscDJ is now available for download.
