Heraldic Drawings on ArtWorks
Tim Powys-Lybbe
Monday 15th August 2011, 7:45pm

ArtWorks is a drawing language where each component is drawn separately and may be stored on different layers. Heraldic drawings are done from a series of instuctions, adding components layer by layer. The two sound made for one another and indeed they are.

Tim has been working for some years on heraldic drawings from the elegant simplicity of early medieval ones to the complexity of modern assemblies. For the last few years he has been using ArtWorks more and more and now uses ArtWorks almost exclusively for his heraldic drawings. He hopes to show how easy this sort of drawing can be.

In his long career from sewage plant labourer to IT project manager, one of Tim's jobs was training manager so he will hone up his communication skills for the 15th.
