Re-casing your Iyonix - theory and practice
Keith Dunlop
Monday 16th August 2004, 7:45pm

Castle currently offer the Iyonix in three different cases (the original one which has support for podules, the slimline desktop format X100 case, and the huge Panther case). For hybrid systems, a variety of other cases have been used to house the Iyonix motherboard; and Castle have also developed a rack-mounted version.

However, some people still want to see their Iyonix looking different to what's normally available. Keith Dunlop is one of those people, and has re-housed his Iyonix and his wife's Iyonix into large and unusual cases.

Keith will be talking about what's involved in the re-casing process, why it's worthwhile, and what the risks are. He will also hopefully be demonstrating one or more examples. In addition, he will be launching his new website, which covers this and a number of other RISC OS related topics.
